INSTANT POT PRESSURE COOKER BEEF STEW

Begin by trimming off any excess fat. The Immediate Pot does not leave the fat a slow cooker does, therefore that I find it is ideal to begin with fat on the meat. The beef will be tender, so it is only that the fat does not melt away if it is cooked slow and low, as it will.

Ingredients
- 3 Pounds of beef stew cut to bits and fat trimmed
- 1/3 cup flour
- 3 Tbs. Vegetable oil
- 1 onion diced
- 2 cloves minced
- 3 tbsp peeled and cut into pieces
- 2 celery stalks cut into pieces
- 1 pounds. Potatoes cut into pieces
- 1 Tbs. tomato paste
- 1/4 cup of sliced Italian Flat Leaf Parsley
Directions
- Combine stew meat with pepper, salt and flour.
- Heat vegetable oil in Immediate Pot operate corrected to sear and high steak in batches.
- Remove out of wine and Immediate Pot.
- Let wine decrease by half.
- Return beef to Immediate Pot and add tomato paste, garlic, celery, carrots, potatoes, onions and beef stock.
- Season with pepper and salt.
- Add lid turn Stress Release Valve and place Instant Pot into Stress for 20 minutes.
- Let Immediate Pot Natural Stress Release for approximately ten minutes, After 20 minutes countdown is finished.
- Turn Stress Release Valve to allow any pressure getaway.
- Lid opens, angling Immediate Pot lid away from you it off to prevent the steam.
- Stir in extra paper and salt and leaf parsley .
